Meet Dominique Tulett (Special interest in Scoliosis)

Dominique graduated from AUT NZ in 2012 and has since enjoyed working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in private practices from Leederville to Kelmscott.

Dominique has a keen interest in all things sporting and has worked with performance enhancement and injury management across a range of athletes and sporting fields.

Previous sporting involvements include providing physio to the Little Athletics Southern Stars division for the management of common childhood growth and over-loading conditions. Also, for rugby league teams in NZ, conducting injury prevention and management.

Dom feels strongly about treating not only her clients’ symptoms but correcting underlying issues, thereby decreasing the risk of future injuries. Dom places emphasis on functional rehabilitation for optimal outcomes and enjoys the benefits of incorporating clinical reformer-based Pilates and gym rehabilitation into her treatment programmes.

Completing further training for the management of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, Dom offers scoliosis screenings, to detect any underlying spinal curvatures, and implements specific exercise interventions, should a curve be detected. Dom has undergone further training for both the management of cervicogenic headaches and the correction of painful postural related issues.

Dom has undergone additional training in Dry Needling techniques for trigger-point release and is a qualified DMA Clinical Pilates instructor, and FlyGym aerial fly instructor.

On a Personal Note

Dominique loves travel, music, and anything that may be described as an adventure!
